Guidelight elevates behavioral healthcare by bridging the gap between inpatient and outpatient and allowing people to conveniently access transformative care while continuing to meet obligations and do the things they value, if they choose. By bringing a sophisticated, evidence-based clinical model of PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) programs, Guidelight is increasing access to care in communities across the country.

Adam was the first therapist hired by Guidelight in 2024. He loves being able to focus on what’s best for the client, and not having to worry about “the numbers” — whereas some other practices focus on how many people you can get through the door.
Today Adam is integral in training other therapists as well as leading group counseling sessions. He watches as new clients progress from “being in a dark, hopeless tunnel to finding a light and moving toward it.” He says, “It’s amazing the progress you see them make in only a couple weeks.”

As a young man in West Texas, Andy watched as multiple family members struggled with, and ultimately died from, severe mental illnesses. These tragedies inspired Andy to enter the medical field and psychiatric training where he realized that excellent psychiatric care was out there, but only available to a privileged few. Andy set out to change that by co-founding Guidelight in 2023.
“Our sincere hope is to light the way toward a better, more equitable mental healthcare system – one where intermediate levels of care are a powerful engine of recovery, hope and systemic change. The backbone of that work is building a compassion-first, clinically excellent and therapist-led culture mirroring the outward promise of wellness and recovery internally” says Andy.

Steve is a behavioral healthcare veteran who has dedicated his career to addressing gaps in the mental health system. As COO at InStride Health, a specialty provider for pediatric anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and CEO at AbleTo, a pioneer in virtual mental health outpatient treatment, Steve understands the barriers to accessing care and is a staunch advocate for creating access to high-quality, evidence-based treatment. He was drawn to Guidelight for its emphasis on outcomes-driven clinical programming, thoughtful lengths of stay, and community-centered model.
“By staying rooted in our client-centered values and driven by compassion, creativity, and urgency, we’re making care more accessible—and more impactful—for individuals and families across the country,” says Steve.
